Mary Welford
Mary concentrates in family law, social security and worker’s compensation disability law and general civil litigation. Mary takes a collaborative approach to family cases and encourages parties to mediate whenever possible, but she has also taken many cases to trial and appeal. Mary has been practicing law since 1987. She has been at Welford & Sawyer since 2006. Prior to that she worked at a small firm, had a solo practice and was a staff attorney at Vermont Legal Aid.

Brian A. Sawyer
Brian concentrates in elder law, including Medicaid planning, estate planning and administration, landlord/tenant cases and real estate transactions for both buyers and sellers. Brian has been practicing law since 1984. He has been at Welford & Sawyer since 2006. Prior to that he worked at a small firm and was a supervising attorney at Vermont Legal Aid.
